The International Leadership Scholarships at Bond University offer a tuition remission of AUD 10,000 to students with outstanding leadership and community involvement experience who are enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies.

These International Leadership Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and evidence of outstanding leadership and community achievement.

As an International Leadership Scholar, you will be awarded a tuition remission of AUD $10,000, which will be paid in two equal installments of AUD $5,000 in the first two semesters of study, and beginning in Bond in the January, May, or September semester.

The benefit applies to the following countries: Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, China, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Ghana, Hong Kong SAR China, India, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Nepal, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam.

As an applicant for an International Leadership Scholarship, you will need to demonstrate your leadership and academic achievements. In order to apply, the following requirements must be met:

• Undergraduate applications must have achieved a minimum academic score of ATAR 85.00 or an IB Diploma score of 30 or higher.
• Graduate applicants must have achieved outstanding results in their undergraduate studies.
• Be a citizen of one of the countries listed above, or an international student currently residing in Australia (any nationality).
• Provide evidence of leadership, initiative and service to their school/college and/or community.
• Not have already begun undergraduate studies at Bond University.
• Meet the standard entrance requirements for the chosen program of study.

What do I need to prepare to apply?

As an applicant for an international leadership scholarship, you must submit a statement of support. The statement should include evidence of your leadership, initiative and service to your school/college and/or community. Important developments to be taken into account

Beginning August 2023 any student application you submit to Bond University for 2024 and beyond will automatically be evaluated for eligibility for one of Bond’s academic merit scholarships. This eliminates the requirement to submit a separate scholarship application for each student and ensures that students who meet the requirements and criteria for Bond’s high-performing scholarships will receive their scholarship offer along with the program offer.

As part of its transition to automatic scholarship awards for high-achieving students, Bond has shared that the International Leadership Scholarship will be phased out: applications for this scholarship will be accepted until the end of July 2023 for students beginning studies in the September 2023 semester only, with no deferrals granted..
